Anne is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 32 years of experience.

She has specialised in the areas of Commercial, Labour, Environment and Land, Family and Civil litigation.

She has worked with clients to resolve disputes where the subject matters are of high value through mediation, negotiations, arbitration, and litigation.

She has fully embraced the spirit and letter of Article 159 (2)(c) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, in the promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution, which preserves the business and family relations.

Given her long-serving experience in guiding clients through dispute resolution, she has promoted mediation in all areas of her practice and particularly in family law, as it is the best method of dispute resolution.

She is also a legal advisor to a number of Foreign Missions on family law. She has gathered experience over the years on cross-border family issues and conflict of laws in related fields.

As a patriotic citizen of Kenya, she has taken up the civic duty of educating Kenyans on the law in media, corporates, local and international conferences, and in churches.

She is very passionate about succession planning and has facilitated seminars on the same in the above forums.

Anne believes that legal practice is vital for the creation and sustainability of a stable, civil, and prosperous society. She has the conviction that for this to be achieved, the family, which is the building block of society, must be promoted and protected by all.

Anne is a member of the Family Law Practitioners who work closely with the bench and other stakeholders towards the improvement of the delivery of justice in the Family Division of the High Court of Kenya and the subordinate courts under it.

In furtherance of the goal to promote and protect the family, Anne has engaged in advocacy work locally and internationally.

In partnership with professionals from various disciplines, they established the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF), which is involved in advocacy in areas of governance, family, life, and religious freedom.

She is the former Chairperson of its board and currently the Chairperson of its Advisory Committee. KCPF works together with various institutions to promote National Values, which are enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya.

To give the family its prominent role in society, KCPF has partnered with the Government for 10 years in celebration of the UN International Day of the Family.

In a bid to devolve the idea of professionals working together for the betterment of society, Anne has spearheaded an initiative to establish Christian Professionals chapters in other countries in Africa. It has a footprint in 25 countries and has so far held two continental conferences. She is currently the Chairperson.

Anne believes that Professionals have a vital role to play in fighting poverty in Kenya. In a bid to promote the financial well-being of workers in professional firms, she registered JACHIN Sacco and served as its inaugural chairperson for 10 years. Today, the Sacco has 1,200 registered members whose standard of living has been tremendously improved by it.
